Recovery
Sutures or a row of stitches are generally removed five days post-surgery. Expect swelling for one to two weeks and it is not uncommon for the lip-lift incisions to take about 6 to 8 weeks to begin to look as your desired goal. Some patients experience tightness in the affected area for two to four months.
