Tip plasty is a surgical-aesthetic procedure that reshapes the tip of the nose, with the purpose of creating balance between the nose and other facial features.
Rhinoplasty vs. Tip plasty
Tip plasty is easier, faster and has a shorter recovery time than rhinoplasty.
While rhinoplasty targets reshaping the whole shape of the nose, tip plasty, only re-shapes and reduces the size of the nasal tip thus giving the appearance of an arranged overall nose line.

Post-Surgery Aftercare
To help the healing process, patients are advised to:
– Refrain from smoking and drinking for least 4 weeks.
– Avoid touching the scar, or tearing off the scabs.
Recovery
The recovery is approximately 1 to 2 weeks, during this time, patients are advised to keep their head elevated at all times.
Your doctor will remove the cast and stitches after 1 week, followed by the taping will be eventually removed in the next couple of days.
